Challengers is pleased to introduce our new SATURDAY READ-ALONG program for younger readers: ChallengeJuniors!  On the last Saturday of each month, Challengers will play in-store a specially constructed full-cast recording of a book, while younger readers follow along in their own copies of the book.

Our March ChallengeJuniors book is Jeff Smith's BONE Volume One: Out From Boneville.  Here's how publisher Scholastic describes the book:

"In Out from Boneville, volume one of this nine-book epic, the three Bone cousins--Fone Bone, Phoney Bone, and Smiley Bone--are separated and lost in a vast, uncharted desert. One by one, they find their way into a deep, forested valley filled with wonderful and terrifying creatures. On March 27th at noon, we'll be playing the ChallengeJuniors Cast Recording of BONE in-store.  We'll be selling copies of BONE through (and after) the 27th, and suggest that each participant have a copy with which to read-along.

BONE is intended for readers age 9 and up, and Challengers recommends that children be accompanied by an adult.
