UPCOMING RELEASES FOR 11/06/24
This is it, the final comic of the initial ABSOLUTE launch from DC Comics, ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN (by Jason Aaron and Rafa Sandoval), and it's good. As with Batman and Wonder Woman, it's a new take on a new Man of Steel, and I don't think our planet is quite ready for him.
This week also sees the much-anticipated creator-owned return of KELLY SUE DeCONNICK (along with the incredible DAVD LOPEZ) with FML #1, a modern-day, Portland-based suburban high school family story, that's been getting crazy good advance reviews! Is it drama? Is it horror? Is it all too real, yet full of witchcraft and monsters? ALL OF THOSE THINGS! Don't miss out!
DC also has two ALL IN #1's with BATGIRL (by Slaughterverse alum Tate Brombal and Challengers' window artist Takeski Miyazawa) and JSA (written by Jeff Lemire), and you should definitely take a look at Emma Rios' new, original graphic novel ANZUELO (it means fish hook)-- you'll be glad you did!
