Feeling a bit lonely and out of place, she's desperate for community and a sense of belonging. An anarchist student-activist committed to veganism and shoplifting, Zena offers Sophie a whole new political ideology that feels electric. Enamored of Zena, of the idea of living more righteously Sophie finds herself swept up in a whirlwind friendship that blows her even farther from her rural Californian roots as they embark on a disastrous hitchhiking trip to Amsterdam and Berlin full of couch surfing, drug tripping, and radical book fairs.

To get your order locally, you can choose Local Pickup as an option at checkout. After receiving notification that your order is ready, you can drop by Challengers during our current operating hours (Weekends 11-5, Weekdays 11-6, Wednesday 11-7). Your order will be held for you at the front counter. Just let us know the name on the order, as well as that you ordered through Shopify, and you're good to go!

If you'd prefer to have your order left outside for contactless pickup, we're happy to accommodate. When you're outside the store, call us at 773.278.0155. Stay six feet away from our front door. We'll put your books in a basket outside our front door. Once we're back inside, you can grab your books!
